Cameron Nugent
With a vast catalogue of early acting experience, Cameron took a well earned hiatus to complete his law degree and subsequently start an international surf camp. On returning to Australia, Cameron evolved from an award winning actor to create iCandy Productions, a multi-media production company with more than 40 years acting and production experience between himself and his business partner. With some heavyweight clients under its belt including Mitsubishi, ABC Australia & Levis, iCandy moved towards television and film production, and are currently in pre-production On multiple projects in both fields. Cameron is eagerly preparing to face the challenges involved becoming a world force in his industry.
Andrew Kline
Andrew Kline brings a broad background of professional sport, investment banking, and industry knowledge to his company Parklane. He has worked on transactions in Major League Soccer, the National Hockey League, the National Basketball Association, the National Football League, the National Lacrosse League, the Arena Football League, The X-Games, and many sports business industries. He is currently a member of The Stanford Executive Circle, the Association of Corporate Growth, the NFLPA, the NFL Retired Players Association, the National Football League Youth Education Town, and the Cedars-Sinai Sports Spectacular. He is also the founder of Project PLAY!, a Los Angeles based charitable organization that provides under-resourced schools with art, music and sports equipment. Andrew has also served as President of The Athletes Agency, Vice President of The AFL San Diego Riptide, CEO of The Australian Surf Academy, CFO of SBI, Chairman of the Athletes for Rudy Giuliani Coalition, and was a member of the World Champion NFL St. Louis Rams.
Matthew Young
At 38 years old Matt Young is obviously keen on leaving his personal stamp on the health and fitness industry. Founding Innovative Fitness in 2007, he was instrumental in developing his business from a single customer to 7 personal training facilities across the Western Canada and the United States using his patented Lifestyle management approach. For his achievements he would be recognized as one of Canada’s 2006 Top 40 Under 40 business leaders.
Not one to rest on his laurels, Matt founded MyPypeline in 2007, an online fitness content delivery platform with the vision of ‘enabling every person to experience preventative health care with accessibility, affordability and accountability as the pillars’. Matt was also responsible for the creation of the first media only fitness reality contest in his province in the provincial newspaper and news network. Matt’s passion is the intrinsic reward he gets from challenging himself to try new things, working through the associated adversities and achieving personal victories. Matt has run, hiked, kayaked or cycled the gamut from Ironman races to multiple marathons, adventure races, and international hikes, cycles, runs and dives.
His proudest accomplishment is captaining the 2007 Cannacord Team H2V coast to coast cycling team from Halifax to Vancouver in 8 days raising just under 1 million dollars for charity. “The ability to combine such a great physical feat and help others, is incredibly rewarding”
Curtis Christopherson
Curtis Christopherson is a professional training coach and being a former member of the Canadian National Water polo team, is no stranger to hard work. Curtis also owned and ran the first Innovative Fitness franchise in White Rock, British Columbia. His athletic accomplishments include 9 National Water Polo Championships, the 100km Del Sahara desert run, several Half Ironman’s, multiple marathons, adventure race podium finishes, and international hikes such as Machu Piccu and Kilimanjaro. Curtis co wrote Swim Upstream – Unsubscribing to conventional wisdom and together with his group of literary cohorts, published 2 further books since. Curtis will undoubtedly leave an indelible mark on the health and fitness industry and bring others along for the journey.
Richard Alm
Richard Alm is an adventure seeker born and raised in Vancouver, B.C. Canada.
Richard began working with Innovative Fitness www.innovativefitness.com in 2005 as a professional training coach and since then has participated in many of their events and traveled consistently on their destinations. Being an advocate of challenge, adversity and victory, Richard believes in physical challenge leading to one’s personal growth. He has taken part in Trekking the Himalayas, the Honolulu Marathon, the Cambodia Half Marathon, the Oliver Half Ironman and was one of the team riders that crossed Canada in 8 days in 2007 www.teamh2v.com . The past 3 years have seen his biggest advancements in destination fitness and training – being asked to ride with the team across Australia will be another major highlight.
Steve Tsakoumakis
At 40 years old Steve continues to find events that push his endurance to the limit time after time. Steve’s true passion has been motorbikes, where he has completed endurance rides all over Australia. Steve has ridden the entire length of The Canning Stock Route in Western Australia, which is one of the most remote and isolated tracks in the world and holds it appeal as the “last frontier”. Not content on achieving this epic journey once, he has completed it on 3 occasions. He has also ridden from Birdsville in Queensland across the Simpson Desert in South Australia finishing at Alice Springs in the Northern Territory.
The love of two wheels lead him to cycling, where he has completed a number of gruelling events such as 210 km Round the Bay in a Day, 160 km Ride for a Cure and the 520 km Murray to Moyne charity event. He is riding with the Cyclebetes Team to help achieve the ultimate goal of completing this event. He also hopes to highlight the awareness of Diabetes and the challenges that people with Diabetes face day to day.
As a Biochemist now working in the Diabetes industry, Steve is very passionate about the cause. The event has excited and enthused him immensely. Steve is passionate about the ability he has to provide assistance, help and raise awareness to a great cause along with the challenge that pushes his endurance to the limit.
